On Saturday, May 5th from 10am to 12:30pm, we will participate in Wake Up The Earth with a special Wake Up Your Garden event on the grounds of the Loring Greenough House. (Afterwards, join the parade from Curtis Hall to the Stonybrook victory gardens for an afternoon of Community Gardens, themed activities and celebrations!)
At Loring Greenough we will have many experts on hand and activities aimed at making your garden the best it can be this year, including
🌹Ask-A-Master-Gardener & Master Gardeners’ soil pH test tables🌹
You may bring your questions about plants for your garden and ask a certified Master Gardener.
You may take a huge step toward successful cultivation of plants in your garden by having the Master Gardeners test your soil for its acidity (pH).
Dig a soil sample according to the instructions linked HERE BY NO LATER THAN THIS WEEKEND, APRIL 28th – 29th and let it dry per the instructions so that the Master Gardeners can do a free on-the-spot test at our event. One sample per household, please.
