CANCELLED Fortepiano concert, January 23rd at Loring-Greenough House

Sadly, due to a hand injury, Tish Anne Kilgore will not be able to present the concert planned for Sunday, January 23. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope to invite her again to the series next year.

On Sunday, January 9, 2011, at 3:00 pm. at the historic Loring-Greenough House, 12 South Street, Jamaica Plain, Pianist Leslie Hitelmann, will play a varied program on the Loring-Greenough 1790 Longman and Brodirp forte piano,  including works of Bach, Mozart and Schubert along with her own compositions and arrangements. Later in the month on Sunday January 23st,  Tish Anne Kilgore, forte piano and flute, will present Bach’s Sonata for Flute, piano sonatas by Padre Antonio Soler, and Schubert’s Piano Music for 4 hands, assisted by her daughter Meghan Taevs.

The Re-enactment was a major success

Gardner’s Regiment and Loring Greenough House August 2010 Gardner’s Regiment was the guest of the Loring-Greenough House in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. The event gave Gardner’s the opportunity to meet with numerous local residents and discuss our Colonial and Revolutionary War history.
