Our Edwardian bedroom is a most special room. It represents one of the major additions made to the House by the Greenoughs, in the early 20th century. It is also the space today where every bride or groom married at the Loring Greenough House gathers with attendants and family to add the final touches that will make the wedding a beautiful and memorable event. However, it is in desperate need of refinement! Most horrifying are the extensive stains on the wallpaper from water damage. Although we have been able to fix the roof, we need your help to transform this space from “drab to dreamy!”
New wallpaper, paint, and soft furnishings will make this room a sparkling, wedding-appropriate gem at the Loring Greenough House. And will significantly revive the Edwardian era in this special space!

Planned new wallpaper!
We have just received permission from the Boston Landmarks Commission to do what is needed for the restoration transformation, but we only have a short window in which to accomplish the magic! With wedding season swiftly upon us, we are launching a special May campaign. Will you help make the mayflowers bloom in this room?
Your $20 gift (in honor of reviving the early 20th century) can help us take this important room from stuffy Victorian to the refined elegance of the Edwardian era of the early 20th century. Thank you so very much for your support. Our campaign ends May 31!
