Dear Friend of the Loring-Greenough House,
For the past ten holiday seasons, members and friends of the Loring-Greenough House have decorated wreaths as a major fund raiser for the preservation of this historic landmark. We have been thrilled to see our designs on the doors and windows of the neighborhood.
We hope you will want to add one of our unique wreaths to your holiday decor. An order form is linked at the top of this page. If you have special requests, don’t hesitate to let us know. We can even try to weave special decorations into the design–let us know if you have something in your collection that you would like to see in your own wreath.
Holiday Centerpieces featuring fresh greens, candles and colorful decorations. Stop by on a December weekend to check them out. Or, order yours on the order form. As usual, we love working with special requests. Let us know what we can do to make your holiday brighter. At $20, these unique centerpieces are a bargain!
We are again offering pots of paperwhites (narcissi) in white pebbles, ready to grow when you “just add water.” They are $14, or two for $25. They are a perfect holiday hostess or teacher gift.
We are also always looking for new designers in this project and we always need help selling the wreaths, centerpieces and paperwhites on weekends, especially on Sundays, from November 28th through December 20th . If you would like to join our merry band, please give Brigitte Henkes a call at 617-522-0713. We will be working on the wreaths at the workshop in the Loring- Greenough Ell, beginning the second week in November and continuing until we use up all our supplies! Wreaths will be displayed for sale at the Loring-Greenough House from November 28th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays, while supplies last. Please join us!
