Mary Buchinger is the author of four collections of poetry, including e i n f ü h l u n g/in feeling, Aerialist, and Navigating the Reach (forthcoming). Her poetry has appeared in AGNI, Salamander, Slice Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Massachusetts Review, and elsewhere. She is president of the New England Poetry Club and professor of English and communication studies at MCPHS University in Boston.
Jennifer Markell’s first poetry collection, Samsara, published in April, 2014 by WordTech Communications, was named a “Must Read Book of Poetry” for 2015 by the Massachusetts Book Awards. Markell won the Barbara Bradley & Firman Houghton awards from the New England Poetry Club. Several years later she became a member of the NEPC Board. Her work has appeared in publications including Consequence, The Hawaii Pacific Review, RHINO, Tinderbox Poetry Journal and The Women’s Review of Books. Jennifer works as a psychotherapist, traveling the royal road that dreams and poetry share.
J.D. Scrimgeour won the AWP Award for Nonfiction for his second book of nonfiction, Themes for English B: A Professor’s Education In & Out of Class. He is also the author of four poetry collections, the most recent being Festival. With musician Philip Swanson he released Ogunquit & Other Works, a CD blending music and poetry. The musical, Only Human, composed with his sons Aidan and Guthrie, premiered at Ames Hall Theatre in 2014. He lives in Salem, Massachusetts, where he chairs the English Department at Salem State University and hosts the Salem Writers’ Group at the Salem Athenaeum. http://jdscrimgeour.com

Parking Information: The Loring-Greenough House has a parking lot, but four spaces are reserved for ZIP Cars. Please respect these spaces, and also please try not to park on the grass. There is nonrestricted street parking and a large, free public parking lot off Centre Street between Burroughs and Thomas Streets just a block from the Loring-Greenough House.
