Kicking off our Gardening Together Series again this year is Wake Up Your Garden! An informative, outdoor event on the Loring Greenough lawn to celebrate the arrival of spring. This year we are adding exciting opportunities to learn more about the history of the LGH!
What’s blooming at the Loring Greenough House? In addition to signs of spring, we have stories and secrets to share!
Come discover how to wake up your sleeping garden, “meet” some of the people who lived and worked at Loring Greenough, and see a secret space recently explored by the city’s Archeologist!
There will be activities for all ages including a gnome hunt, plant sale, soil testing, and historic spaces to tour. Our event adds to the Jamaica Plain’s Wake Up the Earth celebrations and helps kick off Boston’s Preservation Month, so join us in learning about new dimensions of Loring Greenough. And if you want to come relax and enjoy the advent of spring flowers in our beautiful gardens, you’re welcome to do so, too.
