Albino Mbie makes music that aims to combine disparate entities into an organic whole while retaining their unique, undiluted flavors — the music of his native Mozambique, coupled with his experiences living in the US and traveling to many other places in the world, overlap pleasingly to treat the audience ear with an original sound of Afro-pop meets Moz-Jazz.
