The days are getting cooler but we can still gather as a community to bid farewell to summer and welcome fall with open arms. Please join us this summer for a series of outdoor movies shown on the Loring Greenough House Lawn! This Mel Brooks caper from 1974 features Gene Wilder as the American grandson of the famous scientist Dr Frankenstein, who inherits the family estate in Transylvania, and sets about trying to recreate his experiments to reanimate the dead. This comedy horror tale is a Halloween classic starring Peter Boyle as the monster and Marty Feldman as his servant, Igor. Rated PG-13.…

Loring Greenough House's Appraisal Day is back! On Saturday October 7th, between 1pm and 4pm, bring over those antique treasures and art and have them appraised by professional appraiser Edward Stanley Donation is $10 per item or $25 for 3 items. Bring up to 3 items - or just come and watch our very own Roadshow with refreshments! There are sure to be some exciting discoveries! Proceeds to benefit the Preservation Fund of the House. (Please note: Jewelry, stamps and coins cannot be evaluated.)
